Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisition, Ceridian HCM

Chelsey Griggs

Chelsey Griggs, SVP of Mergers and Acquisitions, is responsible for leading the global integration of acquisitions at Ceridian. She works closely with the executive team, the target company’s leadership team and all functional leaders across the organization to plan and deliver a successful end state operating model.

Chelsey’s career spans over 20 years in strategy, risk management, information technology, management consulting, sales, and human capital management software. She is regularly asked to lead business transformation initiatives that are tied to growth, risk and operational efficiency gains. Examples include business acquisitions and divestitures, insourcing of technology services, centralizing distributed operations and establishing new functions for companies. Her industry experience includes software (Ceridian, Lawson, Infor), management consulting (Accenture and Independent) and retail (Best Buy, Kohls).

In addition to her role as a business leader, she is passionate about employee engagement and helping others. She is an active steering committee member of the Ceridian Womens Network and participates on the Fun at Work committee for the Minneapolis office. She also sponsors two female managers in the GoSponsorHer program and participated on the Talent Selection committee for Ceridian’s Top Talent program.

Outside of work, Chelsey is on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross Minnesota Region and participates on the Risk Leadership Advisory Board for the University of St. Thomas. She coaches academic, science and sports teams for her three children. In her spare time, she loves to travel, downhill ski and read.

Davetta Rinehart

VP/Chief Human Resources Officer, YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas

Davetta Rinehart

Davetta Rinehart has been a YMCA professional for 31 years. She serves as the VP/Chief Human Resources Officer for the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, where she leads a team of HR professionals in the areas of Human Resources, Leadership Development, Payroll and Risk Management. Davetta believes in “Everything HR” and with her Y team helps staff grow into Cause-Driven Leaders who strengthen our communities.

Her career began as a Childcare Director, opening the first preschool center at her YMCA. She also served in the role of Senior Program Director and Associate Branch Executive before moving into the field of HR.

Davetta’s alma mater is the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

Outside of the YMCA world, Davetta lives in Yorktown, VA. She and her husband Bill stay busy keeping track of their three young-adult children and gregarious Wheaten Terrier.

Davetta has served on the Board of Achievable Dream Hampton, a public/private school partnership in Hampton, VA. She is currently President-elect of the Rotary Club of Warwick @ City Center Newport News, where she is involved in grant writing and a wide array of service projects designed to improve the quality of life in her local community and around the world.

Jeff Jacobs

VP of Accounting, Ceridian

Jeff Jacobs

As VP of Accounting, Jeff is responsible for leading the accounting, reporting and audit functions for Ceridian, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidations process, as well as preparation of the quarterly and annual audited financial statement reports. Additionally, Jeff’s team has ownership of Ceridian’s finance & accounting policies and standards.

Prior to Ceridian, Jeff spent 10 years at KPMG as a Senior Audit Manager, and 5 years at General Mills as a Finance Manager.

Jeff is currently the Finance Committee Chair on the board of Highland Federal Finance (a small financing organization) and is the Treasurer for his neighborhood homeowners association.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys numerous sports-related activities, particularly basketball – either playing, watching, or coaching his daughters’ teams.

Sharita Elston

Procurement Director, Ceridian HCM

Sharita Elston

As Procurement Director, Sharita is responsible for Ceridian’s end to end procurement approach, including vendor negotiations, all sourcing activities for goods and services, and vendor risk management. Sharita began her career with Ceridian in 2001, where she held positions within Client Funds and the Accounting organizations.

In addition to her responsibilities at Ceridian, Sharita has worked with various charitable organizations including Alzheimer’s Association, Habitat for Humanity and local food shelves. She also serves as a youth mentor and tutor and is currently the co-chair of one of Ceridian’s YOUnity affinity groups.

Sharita is a travel enthusiast and enjoys exploring and learning about different countries and cultures. In her spare time, when she isn’t traveling, Sharita can be found spending time with her family.

Lisa Sterling

Lisa is a forward thinking, engaging leader who has been disrupting the business and HR landscape to create cultural and organizational performance excellence the past 20 years.

As former leader of Ceridian’s global People & Culture organization, Lisa was responsible for imagining and overseeing people-centric programs, experiences and technology. Lisa was instrumental in Ceridian’s cultural transformation and led the efforts in becoming a Top 100 Companies for Working Mothers, a certified Great Place to Work and a Top 15 Best Places to Work by Glassdoor. Under Lisa’s leadership Ceridian has experienced significant increases in engagement, retention and overall performance.

Lisa has received numerous accolades for her leadership including Working Mother of the Year, HR Executive of the Year, HRO HR Superstar, and 300 Women in Tech Worth Watching.

Todd C. Simmons

Senior Vice President, Operations , Ceridian

Todd C. Simmons

Todd is the Senior Vice President of Practice Management and Site Leader for Ceridian’s campus in St. Petersburg, Florida. He began his Ceridian career in 2001. In addition to his responsibilities as SVP, Todd provides executive leadership for site operations, employee engagement and community relations at Ceridian’s largest US Center of Excellence in St. Petersburg, FL. .

Prior to joining Ceridian in 2001, Todd held leadership positions at several companies, including Hewitt Associates, BP/Amoco and Sam’s Club/Wal-Mart Stores.

In addition to his business leadership experience, Todd is a retired senior non-commissioned officer of the United States Army and Florida National Guard. He served honorably for 21 years including two tours to Iraq, in 2003 and 2009.

In service to our local community, Todd is a past Board Chair of the Pinellas County Urban League and has served on multiple non-profit boards, including; Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, St. Pete’s Promise Leadership Committee and St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors.

Todd holds a BA in History from Florida State University. He resides in Treasure Island, Florida with his wife Nancy and their son Jack. His oldest son Scott lives in Missouri with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, Todd is an avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast.

Luladey Lulu Rufael

Vice President, Technology, Ceridian HCM

Lulu Rufael

Lulu Rufael is a passionate, inspiring leader and organizational change agent driving innovation through people + technology. Lulu is an accomplished Senior HR and Technology leader, with results backed by 20+ years of proven leadership and execution in various Human Resources, IT Service Management, and Program Management roles. Lulu strives to use people collaboration, data, and technology to creatively solve strategic business challenges and create new pathways. Lulu is currently the Vice President of Technology End User Enablement at Ceridian HCM. Lulu holds a bachelor’s degree in Bio-Psychology from the University of Maryland.

In addition to her responsibilities at Ceridian HCM, Lulu is a member of several organizations that specially look to inspire communities, promote positive social change, provide autism awareness, and educational development for our young. She is active member of Women of Distinction, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and volunteers with United Way, Special Olympics, Hand on Atlanta, and Autism Speaks.

Lulu lives in Atlanta, GA but is originally from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She loves to travel and loves to watch soccer and football!

Jessica Hofrichter

Director and Senior Counsel, Global Product Compliance, Ceridian HCM

Jessica Hofrichter

Jessica leads the product compliance team at Ceridian, which provides legal guidance and support to product teams across the globe. She works closely with product management, business development, marketing, and operations teams to help maintain compliance in existing markets and tackle compliance questions in new markets. Jessica is an experienced legal and product compliance leader with a passion for developing teams and programs to integrate compliance into everyday business activities.

Prior to joining Ceridian, Jessica represented clients at a law firm in Minneapolis in a wide range of employment and general business matters. With many years of employment law counseling and litigation experience, she enjoys helping Ceridian build cutting edge HCM products and services.

Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Jessica lives in Rosemount, MN with her husband and three children.

Sianneh Mulbah

Chief People Officer, Minnesota Timberwolves

Sianneh Mulbah

Sianneh Mulbah is in her ninth season with the Timberwolves and Lynx. In 2018 Mulbah became the first female Timberwolves and Lynx C-level executive when she was named its Chief People Officer. In her current role Mulbah is responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s comprehensive human resources strategy. This includes talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational and employee development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, employee relations, and administrative services.

Mulbah plays a key role in the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx Women in Sports Leadership Council, which focuses on the professional growth and development of women in the workplace. She is also on the board of directors of the Twin Cities chapter of Women in Sports and Events (WISE) and has served as a member of the Minneapolis Downtown Council and Girls on the Run Twin Cities.

A graduate of Bemidji State University, Mulbah received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She also received a Master’s degree in Organizational Management – HR and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Concordia University-St. Paul.

Sianneh currently resides in Burnsville, MN with her children Christopher (18) and Olivia (8).

Sook Convery

Operations Manager, Ceridian Cares, Ceridian HCM

Sook Convery

Sook Convery joined Ceridian in 2005 in the Recruitment Process Outsourcing group as an Operations Manager, leading teams to execute strategically aligned processes for external clients in Canada and the US. She has over 20 years experience in the Recruitment business.

As Operations Manager for Ceridian Cares, Sook is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the charity, working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors and volunteer committees across Canada. She also is the primary point of contact for community agencies, working to promote the mission and actions of Ceridian Cares.

Sook is no stranger to fundraising and working with not-for-profit organizations. Working with schools and competitive sports teams in her community for her three children, she has volunteered her time for over 20 years in various capacities. She has also been involved with supporting the United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and HOPE Volleyball among a few.

Shawna Weisberg

Executive Director, Ceridian Cares, Ceridian HCM

Shawna Weisberg

Residing in Toronto, Ontario, Shawna is the Executive Director of Ceridian Cares in Canada and the US. Additionally, Shawna is the Director of Ceridian HCM’s global Community Impact work.

Shawna strives to make a positive social impact in all that she does, and her experience reflects this with a focus on corporate grant-making, employee giving, volunteering, and fundraising. She has worked in corporate social responsibility with two of Canada’s largest banks, worked directly with several non-profits, and studied Corporate Citizenship at Boston College.

Shawna holds a degree in Psychology from York University as well as a diploma in Illustration from Sheridan College. Shawna has been a Director and Advisor for non-profit Boards in the Toronto area, and in her spare time she enjoys art, music, travel, and is an enthusiastic dog lover.
